(1) After a commercial vessel is registered in the registration book of the Nepal Shipping Office, the registrar shall take the registration slip and provide it with the prescribed fee, and the registration slip provided in this way shall be the certificate of the nationality of the vessel and shall be considered as the certificate of registration. Proof of its registration - The format of the letter will be as prescribed.
(2) The certificate of registration provided in accordance with sub-section (1) shall be kept in the vessel at all times.
(3) The certificate of registration shall be deemed to be a public document (4) If there is a change in the name, tonnage, category or other main details of the vessel, a new registration certificate will be issued to such vessel with the prescribed fee.
